Job summary

Waynesburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dynamic and experienced Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to lead our skilled nursing facility.

The role oversees day-to-day operations, coordinates clinical and non-clinical teams, and ensures compliance with regulations while managing budgets and billing. A BS degree and LNHA licensure are required; an MHA/MBA in healthcare management is preferred for advancement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• State licensure as LNHA required.
• MBA/MHA in healthcare management preferred.
• 3+ years of healthcare facility experience required.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the facility.
• Coordinate clinical, managerial, and custodial teams for coordinated care.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Ensure residents’ care plans are followed.
• Create and maintain facility budget.
• Oversee billing and set fees.
• Serve as liaison between staff, residents and families.

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the facility and keep the organization on track for its long-term goals and mission.
• Coordinate and provide leadership to each clinical, managerial, and custodial team, ensuring they work together effectively.
• Ensure the facility operates in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure residents’ individual care plans are followed.
• Create and maintain a budget.
• Oversee billing and set fees.
• Act as the ‘face’ of the organization to the public and residents’ families, serving as a liaison between staff, residents, and families.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s of Science degree from an accredited college or university.
• State licensure as a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA)
• Master’s of Health Administration (MHA) or a Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) in healthcare management (preferred)
• 3+ years of experience in a healthcare facility or related setting
