Job summary

The Laurels of Chagrin Falls, part of CienaHealthcare, seeks an experienced facility administrator responsible for leadership, quality of care and profitability. You will ensure operations align with company systems, promote our mission, and foster collaborative relationships with staff and partners.

Required is a bachelor’s degree with at least three years of administrator experience in long-term or sub-acute care, and a current Administrator’s license in the state. Advanced degrees are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; advanced degree preferred.
• At least 3 years’ administrator experience in long-term or sub-acute care.
• Current Administrator’s license in the state.

Responsibilities

• Interviews and hires management staff.
• Prepares performance evaluations for staff.
• Meaningfully rewards and disciplines staff.
• Receives and resolves complaints.
• Disciplines employees up to and including discharge.
• Adequately supervises assigned staff and assures that those staff are supervising employees assigned to them.
• Monitors and corrects job performance of management staff.
• Uses independent judgment and discretion on behalf of the organization in the performance of these duties.

Ensures all aspects of facility operations, adhere to the company systems and programs for quality and consistency and compliance.
