Job summary

HC is seeking an experienced Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to lead the overall operations of our Skilled Nursing Facility in Nashville. You will drive resident-centered care, regulatory compliance, and financial performance while engaging staff and the community.

The role requires an LNHA license, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and at least 3 years of SNF leadership experience. You will partner with Nursing and HR to ensure staffing, quality outcomes, and survey readiness,

Qualifications

  • Current LNHA/NHA license required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of skilled nursing facility leadership/administrative experience.
  • Strong knowledge of SNF operations and survey processes.
  • Proven experience leading interdisciplinary teams and improving facility performance.
  • Strong understanding of census development, admissions, staffing, labor management, and financial operations.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong knowledge of CMS, state Department of Health requirements, and long-term care regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership and direction for the daily operations of the skilled nursing facility.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality, resident-centered care and services.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the facility’s interdisciplinary leadership team.
  • Establish a culture of accountability, teamwork, professionalism, and resident satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and applicable healthcare standards.
  • Oversee survey readiness, regulatory compliance, plans of correction, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor key operational, clinical, staffing, census, and financial metrics.
  • Develop strategies to improve census, admissions, occupancy, and overall facility performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, physicians, hospitals, referral sources, and community partners.
  • Partner with the Director of Nursing and clinical leadership to promote quality outcomes and strong clinical performance.
  • Oversee staffing, recruitment, retention, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Work closely with Human Resources to ensure effective hiring, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Monitor facility budgets, expenses, labor costs, and financial performance.
  • Ensure appropriate staffing levels and effective utilization of agency personnel.
  • Conduct regular leadership meetings and ensure accountability across all departments.
  • Address resident and family concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Oversee facility policies, procedures, and systems to ensure operational consistency.
  • Lead performance improvement and Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, welcoming, and professional environment for residents, families, and employees.
  • Serve as a visible and engaged leader within the facility and surrounding community.

We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to lead the overall operations of our skilled nursing facility.
