The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) is seeking candidates for the Service Director/RN on the Skilled Unit at Georgia Regional Hospital - Atlanta, located in Decatur, GA. Plans, directs, and coordinates the delivery of health services with a focus on continuous patient care and regulatory compliance.

Salary is $100,160.00 annually. The role demands leadership over staff, policy development, budgeting, and program evaluation to meet organization goals

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health care services or related field is required.
• Five years of professional managerial or supervisory experience in health care services is required.
• Some positions may require certification and/or licensure.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, directs, and coordinates the delivery of health services.
• Develops and implements related policies and procedures.
• Monitors and evaluates healthcare programs.
• Directs subordinate supervisors and staff.
• Interviews, hires, directs, trains, evaluates performance, and disciplines health care employees.
• Oversee planning, development, scheduling, and implementation of health care programs and activities.
• Participates in budget development and administration.
• Performs community assessments and develops policies based on data and planning documents.
• Plans and directs work of the unit to provide continuous active treatment to patients.
