Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing and Georgia RN license is required; four years of professional nursing experience with two years in a lead/supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, guides, and instructs nursing staff on the unit.
• Plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for assigned shifts.
• Ensures accurate assessment of patient health problems and needs.
• Develops and maintains nursing care plans and medical records.
• Oversees quality of nursing services and adherence to policies.
• Provides guidance on patient care, disease prevention, and treatment planning.
• May provide case management and coordinate staffing for shifts.
• Ensures compliance with standards and regulations.
