Job summary

Tanglewood Nursing & Rehabilitation in Topeka, KS seeks a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNFA) to lead the skilled nursing facility, ensure high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and efficient operations.

The LNFA will manage budgets, staff, and resources, collaborate with families and providers, and drive initiatives for quality outcomes while upholding ethical standards and compassionate elder care.

Qualifications

• Valid and current Kansas LNFA license is required.
• 3+ years of experience in nursing home administration or senior care management.
• Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare regulations, Medicare and Medicaid requirements.
• Strong leadership and communication skills demonstrated in supervision.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the nursing home, including resident care, staff management, and facility maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing nursing home operations and resident care standards.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote quality care and operational efficiency.
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate nursing home staff to maintain high performance and professional development.
• Manage budgets, financial reporting, and resource allocation to support sustainable facility operations.
• Coordinate with healthcare professionals, families, and community resources to address resident needs and concerns.
• Monitor resident satisfaction and quality indicators, implementing improvements as necessary.
• Prepare for and participate in inspections, audits, and accreditation processes.
