Job summary

Nortonville Health Care Center, a 45-bed skilled nursing facility in Nortonville, KS, seeks an experienced Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to lead operations with a focus on clinical excellence and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of progressive leadership experience, strong team-building skills, and a proven track record of improving resident outcomes, Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement knowledge, and a commitment to quality measures.

Qualifications

• Experience leading skilled nursing operations and partnering with clinical leadership.
• Minimum 2 years of progressive leadership experience as LNHA, ED, or senior leader.
• Strong understanding of CMS Quality Measures and Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement.
• Proven ability to develop high-performing teams and improve resident care outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and operational oversight for a 208-bed Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Partner with the Director of Nursing and interdisciplinary team to achieve clinical, regulatory, operational, and financial goals.
• Build, mentor and develop a high-performing leadership team focused on accountability and excellence.
• Create a positive workplace culture where employees are engaged and empowered to succeed.
• Lead teams through change while maintaining strong resident outcomes and communication.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations with continuous survey readiness.
• Drive quality improvement initiatives focused on CMS Quality Measures and resident satisfaction.
• Support census development and cultivate relationships with residents, families, hospitals, referral partners, and the community.
• Develop strategies for caring for residents with behavioral health diagnoses, dementia, and other complex conditions.
