Job summary

McLean Care Center in Texas is seeking a Nursing Home Administrator to lead our facility with a resident-centered approach and compliance focus. The role directs overall operations, regulatory readiness, staff development, and fiscal stewardship while fostering a compassionate culture.

The Administrator will drive staff performance, manage admissions and billing, and partner with clinical teams to ensure high-quality resident services in a safe environment.

Qualifications

• Holds a current Administrator license from the applicable state agency.
• Deep understanding of nursing home regulations and standards and the ability to manage the state and federal survey process.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, expense control, and revenue enhancement.
• Experience in marketing, special care programs, and ancillary service management.
• Genuine passion for serving the elderly and individuals with disabilities.
• Compliance with Patient Bill of Rights and company safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Facility Operations: Ensure smooth and compliant operation aligning with corporate standards and regulatory requirements.
• Lead and Develop Staff: Recruit, orient, train, and retain competent, professional staff.
• Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Maintain policies and procedures meeting state and federal guidelines, including survey readiness.
• Manage Business Operations: Oversee admissions, billing, receivables, payables, payroll, and fiscal responsibility.
• Drive Community Relations: Represent the facility in the community with strong public relations and marketing efforts.
• Enhance Resident Services: Ensure therapeutic, recreational, and rehabilitative programs meet residents' needs.
• Maintain a Safe Environment: Ensure nutritional, medical, and wellness needs are met in a caring setting.
