Job summary

The Lodge at Red Rocks in Morrison, CO offers an Administrator in Training program designed to develop the next generation of Nursing Home Administrators. You will gain hands-on experience across operations, governance, and resident-centered care under seasoned leaders.

You will learn to supervise teams, manage resources, and navigate regulatory requirements while building a career in skilled nursing leadership in Colorado.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and/or at least two years of supervisory healthcare facility experience.
• Two years of full-time work experience in a healthcare facility in a supervisory position (preferred).
• 60 semester units or 90 quarter units of college coursework (required/preferred).

Responsibilities

• Undergo hands-on leadership training in skilled nursing operations.
• Learn regulatory compliance, clinical operations, HR, and financial management.
• Train directly with an NHA known for excellence and develop future administrator skills.
• Develop leadership, teamwork, and strategic decision-making capabilities.
• Experience resident-centered care and how great facilities operate in practice.

Who We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and/or
• At least two years of full-time work experience in a healthcare facility in a supervisory position

Preferred Qualifications:

Two years of full-time work experience in any department of a:

• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
• Intermediate Care Facility (ICF)
• Intermediate Care Facility for the Developmentally Disabled (ICF/DD)

AND

At least 60 semester units (or 90 quarter units) of college or university coursework
