Job summary

Pettis County Assisted Living in Sedalia, MO, seeks an experienced Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) or Residential Care Administrator (RCAL) to provide leadership and operational oversight for a 139-bed community.

Qualifications

  • Maintain survey readiness and address regulatory concerns proactively.
  • Oversee staffing, engagement, retention and performance.
  • Support census development, marketing efforts and occupancy growth.
  • Build relationships with residents, families, physicians, hospitals and community partners.
  • Monitor financial and operational performance.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives and promote resident satisfaction.
  • Ensure care for residents with dementia, behavioral health needs and complex conditions.
  • Serve as a visible hands-on leader within the community.

Pettis County Assisted Living, a 139-bed assisted living community in Sedalia, Missouri, is seeking an experienced Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) or Residential Care Administrator (RCAL) to provide leadership and operational oversight for the community.

Position Responsibilities
  • Provide overall leadership and operational oversight for the 139-bed assisted living community.

  • Partner closely with clinical leadership to achieve excellent resident care, regulatory, and operational outcomes.

  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, physicians, hospitals, and community partners.

  • Ensure appropriate care for residents with dementia, behavioral health needs, psychiatric diagnoses, and complex medical conditions.

  • Serve as a visible, hands-on leader within the community.

Qualifications
  • Current Missouri LNHA or RCAL/appropriate Missouri assisted living administrator qualification.

  • Previous leadership experience in assisted living, residential care, skilled nursing, or senior living.

  • Strong knowledge of Missouri long-term care and assisted living regulations.

  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, develop, and retain high-performing teams.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment.

  • Experience working with residents with behavioral health, psychiatric, dementia, or complex care needs strongly preferred.

  • Proven ability to partner effectively with clinical leadership.
