College of Southern Idaho invites applications for an eleven-month faculty position teaching nursing fundamentals to practical nursing students. Faculty are licensed RNs and professional educators dedicated to helping students become competent, caring professionals within an equitable learning environment.

The role includes theory, lab, simulation and clinical instruction, and expects collaboration with colleagues to strengthen program quality and ensure alignment with State Board of Nursing

Qualifications

• Masters in Nursing or related field (or BSN with equivalent experience) required.
• Licensed RN with current Idaho license.
• CTE certification teaching requirements or ability to obtain.
• Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to CSI policies and procedures as a faculty member.
• Teach nursing fundamentals across theory, lab, simulation and clinical.
• Create course materials and deliver instruction using best practices in nursing education.
• Instruction may be online, hybrid, or face-to-face and include varied teaching modalities.
• Evaluate student performance with confidentiality and integrity.
• Collaborate with faculty to maintain program quality and State Board approval.
• Contribute to ongoing program assessment and annual self-evaluation.
