Job summary

Paul D. Camp Community College seeks a 10-month Nursing Faculty member to fulfill teaching, clinical instruction, and service duties in its nursing program. The role supports partnerships with clinical affiliates and community partners while advancing scholarly engagement and program development.

The position is grant-funded and focused on nursing education, clinical coordination, and student success, serving Franklin and Suffolk campuses with potential Smithfield/center-based activities.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in nursing required.
• Two years of clinical nursing experience.
• Active, unencumbered RN license in Virginia or Compact state.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience with scheduling, time management, and confirmations.

Responsibilities

• Teach nursing courses and clinical instruction for the program.
• Develop community partnerships and engage with clinical sites.
• Support student recruitment, retention, and progression.
• Ensure NCLEX NextGen standards alignment in assessments and exams.
• Coordinate clinical placements and maintain documentation and compliance.
