Job summary

Arizona College of Nursing seeks Core Nursing Faculty to develop and evaluate the nursing education program, teach didactic, clinical, and simulation experiences, and lead nursing lab activities.

The role includes mentoring adjuncts and students, advising groups, ensuring FERPA compliance, and contributing to curriculum design and program evaluation. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree required; nursing or related field with nursing degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years’ professional RN experience with direct patient care.
• Experience teaching in a nursing program is preferred.
• Unencumbered RN license or enhanced compact license for teaching location.
• Nurse Educator certification and national specialty certification preferred.
• Maintain professional competence through ongoing education and practice.

Responsibilities

• Teach didactic and clinical courses; lead simulation and nursing lab experiences.
• Mentor faculty, adjuncts, and students; provide guidance and oversight.
• Advise nursing students; monitor progress and provide feedback.
• Oversee clinical adjuncts; ensure alignment with course objectives and outcomes.
• Maintain FERPA compliance and participate in governance and policy discussions.
• Contribute to curriculum design, program evaluation, and continuous improvement.

Education

Graduate degree in nursing or related field with nursing credential

RN license in teaching location (state or compact)
