Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College in Indiana seeks a full-time nursing faculty member to deliver ASN/PN program instruction and support student learning across delivery methods.

Responsibilities include developing curricula, maintaining records, mentoring students, and participating in program assessment and college committees; requires RN licensure in Indiana, 3+ years of RN experience, and progress toward a Master’s in Nursing as applicable.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Current, unencumbered Indiana RN license.
• Faculty with Master’s degrees in nursing should hold or plan to complete a Master’s degree; those with Bachelor’s degrees must meet all requirements.
• Within one semester of initial appointment, must have a written academic plan of study for completion of a Master’s degree in nursing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction using pedagogy and technology aligned to course objectives and program learning outcomes.
• Develop and maintain curriculum and supporting course materials.
• Maintain student records, attendance, grades, and other documentation; manage a classroom environment.
• Facilitate student achievement of expected program learning outcomes.
• Participate in professional development and stay current in pedagogy and technology.
