Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana seeks a faculty member for the ASN/PN programs to deliver instruction, develop syllabi, and manage student assessments. The role requires nursing expertise, adherence to schedules, and effective use of Blackboard and PowerPoint tools.

Candidates should hold an RN license in Indiana and pursue a Master’s degree in nursing; a comprehensive plan toward the degree is expected for bachelor’s degree holders.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Current, unencumbered Indiana RN license.
• Majority of faculty shall hold master's degrees in nursing.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing holders must outline an academic plan toward a Master's degree.

Responsibilities

• Perform all instructional duties to facilitate student learning in assigned classes.
• Provide syllabus to students and follow syllabus content and requirements.
• Maintain attendance and grading records; meet all class schedules.
• Use classroom technology (Blackboard, PowerPoint) as appropriate.
• Consult with program chair to resolve issues and handle student concerns.
