Job summary

West Coast University is seeking a Nursing Faculty member to guide nursing students and contribute to a student-centered, innovative community. You will mentor students, support learning, and participate in curriculum assessment while leveraging Simulation and Innovation Labs to enhance clinical training.

The role emphasizes teaching with a focus on student success, scholarly activity, and collaboration within shared governance to continually improve courses and outcomes.

Qualifications

• RN with a minimum of two years’ direct patient care experience.
• At least one year of teaching or clinical instruction experience.
• Experience with curriculum assessment and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and support nursing students.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm for teaching and the learning process.
• Implement your teaching schedule.
• Contribute to course and program assessment and improvement.
• Improve class materials and syllabi within shared governance culture.
• Utilize diverse teaching methodologies to meet learning outcomes.
