Qualifications

• Earned master’s in nursing required; doctorate preferred
• CA RN license eligibility; geriatric certification preferred
• Teaching experience with diverse students at baccalaureate or higher level preferred

Responsibilities

• Create a dynamic, learner-centered environment using diverse teaching methods
• Serve as coach and mentor; confer with students on progress and learning plans
• Maintain competence in taught subjects and ensure curriculum integrity with colleagues
• Prepare and review exams, papers, and student projects
• Supervise clinical rotations and document student progress
• Assignments may be at any SMU campus; perform other duties as assigned
