Job summary

Jersey College is seeking a Med-surg Nurse Educator to deliver clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute and acute sites and to guide nursing students toward professional growth.

The role requires an MSN, an active RN license in good standing, and at least 3 years of recent nursing practice. Teaching experience is preferred but not mandatory, with opportunities to participate in faculty activities and program development.

Qualifications

• MSN required; Valid State RN License required.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent RN experience.
• Prior teaching experience is preferred but not required.
• Nurse Educator in a college setting or school environment recommended.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical instruction at clinical sites (long-term care, sub-acute, and acute).
• Prepare progress and grade reports for students.
• Maintain attendance records and evaluate student competency.
• Attend faculty meetings and maintain professional qualifications.
• Perform other duties as assigned by program leadership.
