Job summary

Jersey College seeks a Full Time Nurse Educator to provide clinical instruction across long-term, sub-acute, and acute care settings, guiding student growth and professional development.

You will prepare progress and grade reports, maintain attendance, and evaluate student competency while participating in faculty activities and continuing education to stay current in nursing education standards.

Qualifications

  • MSN required; valid RN license in state.
  • Minimum 3 years of recent RN experience.
  • Teaching experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to develop and deliver RN-level lessons in classroom and clinical settings.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical instruction at long-term, sub-acute, and acute sites.
  • Create a clinical environment supporting student growth.
  • Prepare progress and grade reports.
  • Maintain attendance records.
  • Evaluate student competency.
  • Attend faculty meetings.
  • Maintain professional qualifications through CE and trainings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
