Job summary

Liberty Health is seeking a licensed Nursing Home Administrator to lead Liberty Commons of Johnston County in a full-time, day-shift executive role. You will supervise all facility departments, implement policies, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage budgeting and external relationships.

Preferred candidates hold a four-year degree with at least four years of supervisory experience in a nursing facility and a valid Nursing Home Administrator license.

Qualifications

• Prefer a four-year degree and a minimum of four years supervisory experience in a Nursing Facility.
• A validlicense to operate as a Nursing Home Administrator.
• Sound knowledge of personnel administration and ability to supervise all employees.
• A sound knowledge of local, Federal and State regulations, Medicare and Medicaid regulations, nursing and medical practices and procedures, and any other laws pertaining to Nursing Facility operation.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervises the Facility Department Directors and is responsible for assuring that employees in all departments perform their jobs appropriately.
• Establishes and maintains personnel policies and department policies and procedures; and assures that these policies and procedures are carried out by the staff.
• Follows policies and procedures for compliance with federal, state, and local standards for Nursing Facility operation, and reviews compliance of staff with policies and procedures.
• Interviews and selects competent personnel to supervise/direct activities of all departments.
• Participates in and conducts in-service training for supervisory personnel and staff.
• Prepares an annual budget for the facility and evaluates the financial status of the facility monthly.
• Represents the Nursing Facility in various outside activities and in dealing with various agencies including governmental and third party payers.
