Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Administrator in good standing and currently licensed by the state of Texas.
• Must have 2 years' experience as an Administrator in long term care
• Completion of bachelor's degree or appropriate education to meet state licenserequirements, and at a level necessary to accomplish the job.
• Complete continuing education hours as required by the State.
• Must be able to relate positively and favorably to residents, families, and government regulators, and to work cooperatively with other associates at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Plan all aspects of facility operations with management staff and consultants, set priorities and job assignments; monitor department activities and provide feedback.
• Conduct regular rounds to ensure nursing care, cleanliness, morale, and resident needs are addressed.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, accreditation standards, and surveys; act on reports and recommendations from authorities.
• Develop and implement a marketing strategy to maximize census, payer mix, and revenues; lead staff in executing the plan.
• Build positive relationships with regulators, families, and the community; oversee interdepartmental teamwork and staff development.
