Job summary

Jersey College in New Jersey seeks an Adjunct Ethics Instructor to join our Nursing Program. The instructor will teach ethics to RN/PN students, reinforce professional standards, and support student growth in ethical decision-making.

Responsibilities include preparing progress and grade reports, maintaining attendance records, evaluating competence, attending faculty meetings, and staying professionally current through continuing education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 15 semester hours or 23 quarter hours in the teaching discipline from an accredited school.
• Master degree preferred.
• Prior teaching experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare student progress reports and grade reports.
• Maintain accurate and timely attendance records.
• Evaluate student competence based on program philosophy and objectives.
• Implement evaluation devices of student learning and clinical experience to measure progress and competency.
• Attend faculty meetings.
• Maintain professional qualifications through continuing education programs, in-service training, and academic courses.
• Perform other duties as required by the program director, program dean, or campus administration.
