Abrazo Health in Phoenix is seeking a Nursing Educator to lead education programs for nursing staff across units, focusing on orientation, continuing education and performance improvement. You will collaborate with nursing leadership to implement comprehensive training in perinatal and other services.

You will mentor preceptors, support professional growth, and ensure regulatory compliance while advancing Tenet's education standards.

Formación

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or Nursing Education or related specialty.
• Licensure/Certifications: Current State Licenses & Certifications (BLS, ACLS, NRP).
• Preferred: 2 years nursing experience in Perinatal Services.

Responsabilidades

• Supports educational needs for assigned units/clinics including classroom, clinical experiences and learning technologies.
• Implements education programs to meet orientation and ongoing competency needs and professional development needs of nursing staff.
• Ensures program revisions meet nursing regulatory standards and stays current with education practice standards.
• Provides consultation to enhance continuing education, professional development opportunities and mentorship.
• Delivers/coordinates other educational programs (Grand Rounds, in-services, continuing education) to support competence and growth.
• Provides leadership to preceptors and mentors nurses, students and others.
• Participates in quality improvement activities and collaborates with management for staff development.
