Abrazo Community Health Network Hospital in Phoenix is seeking a Nursing Educator to lead education programs for nursing and non-nursing staff. Under Market Education Director guidance, you will design, implement, and evaluate educational initiatives aligned with Tenet’s goals.

You’ll coordinate orientation, continuing education, and in-services; mentor preceptors and staff; contribute to policy and quality improvement. A Bachelor’s in Nursing and current licenses are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or Nursing Education or related specialty.
• Current State Licenses & Certifications (BLS, ACLS, NRP).

Responsibilities

• Supports the educational needs for assigned units, including classroom, clinical experiences and learning technologies.
• Implements comprehensive education programs to meet orientation and ongoing competency needs and professional development needs of the nursing staff.
• Ensures program revisions meet nursing and regulatory standards and adhere to adult learning principles.
• Provides consultation to enhance continuing education, professional development, and mentorship opportunities.
• Delivers/coordinates educational programs (Grand Rounds, in-services, continuing education) to support nursing staff growth.
• Provides leadership to preceptors and mentors colleagues, students, and others.
• Participates in quality improvement activities and collaborates with management for staff development.
