Palomar College in San Marcos, CA invites applications for three Assistant Professor, Nursing positions in the Nursing Education department. Two openings are for Medical-Surgical Nursing and one for Maternal Health/Obstetrics; the faculty will contribute to student success, participate in service, and support accreditation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in nursing is required.
- Current license or eligibility for licensure as a Registered Nurse in California is required.
- One year of professional experience providing direct patient care as a bedside RN within the past five years in Medical-Surgical or Maternal Health/Obstetrics nursing.
- Eligible for approval as a Medical-Surgical or Maternal Health/Obstetrics instructor by the California State Board of Nursing.
Responsibilities
- Teach a variety of courses in Nursing including lecture, clinical instruction, and campus lab instruction.
- Clinical instruction may be scheduled at various times including Monday–Sunday and may change.
- Two openings are for Medical-Surgical Nursing and one for Maternal Health/Obstetrics Nursing.
