Teaching face-to-face with an emphasis on student success and professional nursing practice. Responsibilities include instructional delivery, clinical supervision, grade assignment, and collaboration

Responsibilities

• Teaching/Role Model
• Provide instruction per syllabus and clinical supervisor guidance to meet course outcomes
• Demonstrate nursing care and ensure alignment with agency standards
• Develop topics for post-conferences in coordination with course coordinator
• Model professional nursing behavior and communication
• Complete weekly evaluation of student clinical progress and document it
• Notify course coordinator if a student is not progressing and assist with remediation
• Offer office hours and help access School of Nursing resources
• Use Cougar Course and other tech tools to deliver instruction and assess learning
• Assign grades and maintain student records per university requirements
• Communicate with clinical staff to resolve issues and work as a team
• Attend faculty meetings and complete orientation requirements
• Coordinate with clinical agencies for site orientations and experiences
• Prepare clinical experiences at sites to support learning
• Supervise students during coursework and simulations as needed
• Collaborate with Simulation team during students’ simulation experiences
• Maintain current nursing practice knowledge to instruct effectively
• Complete additional duties and participate in program development or committees
