Job summary

MetroWest Medical Center - Consolidated is seeking a Nursing Educator to lead and implement comprehensive education programs for nursing and non-nursing staff across units. You will collaborate with nursing leadership to plan, develop, and revise curricula, orientation, and continuing education aligned with Tenet educational goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or nursing education or related specialty.
• Current state licenses and certifications.
• 2 years of nursing experience in behavioral health care setting (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Support and deliver educational programs for assigned units/clinics.
• Implement and maintain nursing education programs meeting Tenet standards.
• Evaluate and improve educational content using adult learning principles, current research, and national nursing education standards.
• Provide coaching, mentorship, and leadership to nursing staff, preceptors, and nurse residents to support clinical competence and professional growth.
• Coordinate and facilitate continuing education programs such as in-services, specialty training, Grand Rounds, and competency-based learning initiatives.
• Manage and oversee key clinical education projects and competencies (CPI Training, Annual Behavioral Health Competency, Restraint Competency, Constant Observer Competency).
