Job summary

WVU Medicine Center for Nursing Education in Morgantown seeks an Instructional Site Coordinator to serve as lead faculty and student success coordinator for the site. You will oversee day-to-day academic, clinical, and student support functions and collaborate with program leadership to ensure consistent delivery of the nursing curriculum.

The role emphasizes teaching, scholarship, and service, advancing student progression, NCLEX readiness, and compliance with accreditation.

Qualifications

MSN required; RN license in the state of service.
Minimum of 3 years teaching in a nursing education program.
BLS certification required.
Preference for doctoral degree related to assignment.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one academic advising and guidance to students.
Monitor progress and use early alert systems to identify at-risk students.
Identify and assist students facing academic, personal, or financial challenges.
Develop and implement student success plans and interventions.
Coordinate faculty-led clinical rotations and preceptorships across sites.
Orient and onboard adjunct faculty and ensure program quality and accreditation readiness.
Teach up to 6 credit equivalents per semester across modalities.
