University Health KC is seeking a Corporate Clinical Nurse Consultant to lead nursing education and staff development across UH system. You will design and deliver competency programs, coach teams, and drive professional growth while partnering with unit leaders to foster a culture of lifelong learning.

The role emphasizes acting as educator, facilitator, consultant, and change agent to elevate patient care and nursing excellence in diverse clinical settings.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active Registered Nurse license (Missouri).
• Master’s degree in Nursing, Adult Education, or a relevant specialty.
• BCLS certification (must be maintained).
• 5–7 years of clinical experience in an area of specialty.
• Strong technical literacy with EMR systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and conflict resolution skills.
• Skilled in facilitation and adult education.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement dynamic education programs based on identified learning needs.
• Conduct clinical skill assessments, continuing education, and leadership development initiatives.
• Facilitate team‑building and professional development across departments.
• Support quality improvement through education and consultation.
