Saint Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center (SJHMC) in Phoenix, AZ is hiring an RN Education Program Manager to plan, coordinate, and deliver healthcare education programs. You will schedule and conduct diverse training, coordinate and/or instruct initiatives, and engage with diverse healthcare professionals to ensure effective learning experiences.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with learners to identify and develop education needs.
• Create and document plans with leadership to meet strategic and operational initiatives.
• Author curricula and deliver educational in-services, classes, courses and programs using traditional, non-traditional and innovative methods including simulation/tech.
• Submit education documentation including rosters, course evaluations and competency tools.
• Conduct structure, process and outcomes evaluation of programs.
• Integrate outcomes with regulatory/organizational needs to determine program effectiveness.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As an RN Education Program Manager, you will be a vital contributor to the planning, coordination, and delivery of essential healthcare-related educational and training programs.

Every day, you will actively assist in scheduling and conducting diverse healthcare training programs. You will also provide direct coordination and/or instruction in various educational initiatives, ensuring effective learning experiences for all participants.

To be successful in this role, you will combine strong organizational and presentation skills with a deep understanding of healthcare education, a passion for teaching, and the ability to effectively engage and train diverse groups of healthcare professionals and staff.

• Collaborates with learners in the identification and development of initial and on-going education needs
• Creates and documents plans in partnership with leadership teams to meet strategic and operational initiatives of the organization
• Authors curriculum and implements educational in-services, classes, courses and programs based upon identified education needs and utilizing traditional, non-traditional and innovative methods of instruction including the use of technology and/or simulation
• Submits documentation in support of education to include rosters, course evaluation documents and competency validation tools.
• Conducts structure, process and outcomes evaluation of programs
• Integrates outcome evaluation with regulatory and/or organizational needs assessment, data, and trends to determine program effectiveness.

Job Requirements – Required

• Bachelors Other and 5 years clinical practice in area of specialty
• Registered Nurse: AZ

Preferred

• Specialty certification or 2 years teaching
• Masters Degree
