Job summary

The University of New Hampshire School of Nursing in Durham invites applications for a full-time Clinical Assistant or Clinical Associate Professor of Nursing. The successful candidate will educate undergraduate and graduate students, supervise clinical experiences, and coordinate simulations and online instruction.

Responsibilities include developing instructional materials, employing varied teaching strategies, evaluating student progress, and participating in governance and curriculum

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree (DNP, EdD, PhD) in nursing or education.
• Eligible for NH nursing license.
• 2-4 years nursing education experience.
• Ability to work with a culturally and academically diverse student population.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proven dedication to student learning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver instructional material in alignment with course objectives and student outcomes.
• Utilize a variety of appropriate teaching strategies to promote student learning.
• Evaluate and document student progress and provide timely feedback.
• Collaborate with faculty to develop, support and implement curriculum.
• Actively participate in governance for the School of Nursing.
• Serve on School/College/University committees as required.
• Participate in evaluation of programs and accreditation activities.
• Serve as an academic advisor to nursing students.
