Job summary

Brown University Health is seeking an NPD Education Manager to design, deliver, and evaluate education across the continuum of care. Reporting to the Clinical Program Manager RN - Education and Professional Practice, the role supports onboarding, competency management, and ongoing professional development using adult learning principles.

Primarily onsite at Rhode Island Hospital with some travel across Brown University Health sites; leads education initiatives to align with evidence-based

Qualifications

• BSN required; MSN preferred.
• Current RN license in applicable state(s).
• BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS certification and AHA instructor certification(s) preferred.
• NPD specialty or other professional certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate learning needs and provide just‑in‑time education to address gaps.
• Collaborate with leaders to deliver tailored education programs.
• Apply adult learning principles and multiple modalities for effective transfer.
• Plan onboarding programs for new hires and role transitions.
• Mentor clinical teams to support retention and professional growth.
