Job summary

One Brooklyn Health System Inc. seeks a Clinical Education Manager to oversee orientation, in-service, and educational programs for facility staff. You will organize training for nursing staff, develop lesson plans, and ensure documentation is complete and compliant.

The role collaborates with Nursing Leadership and Quality departments to promote best practices and resident care. Requirements include RN licensure in New York, a BSN, and prior nursing education experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Long Term Care experience preferred.
• Ventilator experience preferred.
• Previous experience nursing education preferred.
• Must have a valid New York State Registered Nurse License.

Responsibilities

• Understands the facility's mission and core values and incorporates them in daily practice.
• Continually strives to improve the organization’s systems and processes.
• Takes part in decisions as a team member to fulfill our mission and vision.
• Provides orientation to nursing staff and conducts in-services and educational programs.
• Establishes and maintains documentation for in-service programs (minutes, attendance, lesson plans, content, evaluations).
• Prepares annual calendar and master schedule of in-service programs and monthly calendars.
