Job summary

American Career College is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to lead and advance a post-secondary nursing program, ensuring accreditation readiness and compliance with licensure standards. You will guide faculty, manage budgets, and coordinate curriculum development while promoting student-centered learning.

Ideal candidates hold a CA RN license, a BSN, and BVNPT approval, with teaching-methodology training and 3+ years in nursing education or administration.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing, CA.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited program.
• BVNPT approval prior to assuming the role.
• Coursework in teaching methods (≥30 hours) completed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with leading and implementing a nursing program aligned with accreditation and licensure requirements.
• Participate in budget, curriculum development, ATI metrics, and faculty supervision.
• Provide professional leadership and mentorship to teaching faculty; foster creativity, responsiveness, and accountability.
