Qualifications

• Option 1 requires a baccalaureate degree and teaching-focused coursework, or a DOE-recognized credential.
• Option 2 requires ADN-based teaching minimums in California and active LVN/RN license.
• Clinical partners may require vaccinations, screenings or other prerequisites.
• Current CPR Card is required across options.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the clinical instructor team within the Vocational Nursing Program and ensure high-quality clinical education and compliance with program standards.
• Hire, onboard, and train clinical faculty; conduct site visits and observations; support clinical instruction operations across assigned sites.
• Visit clinical sites to ensure high-quality instruction and adherence to regulatory standards.

Education

Bachelor's degree or higher in education or nursing teaching

California teaching certificate or nursing teaching credential

Minimum 1 year teaching experience in nursing education (last 5 years)
