Job summary

Tenet Healthcare in Memphis seeks a Nursing Educator to collaborate with market nursing leadership to assess, plan, develop, implement, facilitate, evaluate and revise educational programming for all levels of nursing personnel and non‑nursing staff as requested.

This role leads orientation, continuing education and in‑services, mentors nurse residents, supports clinical policy development, and ensures programs comply with regulatory and Tenet educational goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or nursing education is required.
• Experience in perinatal or hospital nursing education preferred.
• Current state license and relevant certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and revise education programs for all levels of nursing staff.
• Coordinate orientation, continuing education and in-services.
• Mentor nurse residents and preceptors.
• Support policy development and regulatory compliance.
• Align educational initiatives with Tenet goals and quality standards.
