Lahey Clinic seeks a Clinical Educator - Per Diem to provide expert nursing education and clinical guidance across units. The role supports safe patient care, advances nursing practice, and mentors staff within the Nursing Department.

The educator collaborates with Nurse Managers and develops unit-based education programs, protocol updates, and evidence-based teaching to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master of Science, Nursing or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
• Current license to practice professional nursing (Massachusetts) and BLS/ACLS certification as applicable.
• Knowledge of nursing theory and practice; ability to teach and mentor staff.
• 5 years nursing experience; 1–3 years in training/education preferred, healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing education and clinical guidance to staff.
• Coordinate and implement unit-based nursing education and policies.
• Serve as a clinical resource and participate in committees to improve care quality.
• Develop education programs and evaluate staff competency and practice.
