Vanderbilt Health in Nashville seeks a Nursing Education Specialist to develop and manage orientation, in-service training, workshops, and continuing education for staff. You will lead educational initiatives, monitor nursing practice standards, and serve as a liaison to the VUMC community.

As a resource and educator, you will support hospital committees, promote evidence-based practice, and contribute to quality patient care and staff development.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing (required).
• Current RN license (active).
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience.

Responsabilités

• Develops, implements, evaluates, and revises orientation programs, in-service training, workshops, and continuing education to meet staff needs.
• Leads educational initiatives to ensure quality patient care and customer satisfaction; monitors nursing practice standards.
• Acts as resource and liaison to the VUMC community; serves on hospital committees or task forces.
• Collaborates with executives and department leaders to align education with organizational goals.
