Responsibilities include teaching, advising, scholarship, and collaboration with academic and clinical affiliates. Strong leadership, communication, and LMS skills are essential for advancing nursing education across the system.

Qualifications

• Effective communication with department administration and affiliates
• Organizational and administrative skills
• Proficient with word processing, databases, data analysis, graphics, and distance learning technologies
• Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships
• Strong LMS knowledge and online course development skills
• Strong PowerPoint presentation skills
• RN Licensure with professional organization involvement preferred
• Knowledge of associate-prepared nursing roles in healthcare systems
• Active educator in academic, clinical, or hospital settings

Responsibilities

• Designs, coordinates, evaluates, and implements program curriculum
• Engages in program planning and assessment at department and institutional levels
• Assists Dean with strategic planning, goals, objectives, and assessments
• Manages fiscal responsibilities, including resource allocation and long-term planning
• Completes faculty evaluations and communicates results for professional development
• Oversees program accreditation and prepares annual ACEN reports
• Develops and delivers course instruction and participates in student advising and mentorship
• Engages in teaching, service, scholarship, and research within professional organizations
