Job summary

Kindred Hospital Rancho is seeking an experienced educator to plan, coordinate and deliver continuing education for hospital staff. The role develops the monthly education calendar and collaborates with department managers to ensure staff competency across units.

The position includes forecasting and managing the education operating budget and ensuring compliance training is provided in line with the hospital’s policies and standards. RN licensure and BLS/ACLS are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing is required.
• Masters degree preferred.
• Current RN licensure in the state.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Five years of experience in an acute care Medical/Surgical setting.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates and teaches continuing education and in-service education for the hospital.
• Develops monthly education calendar and training programs.
• Forecasts and administers the education operating budget.
• Collaborates with department managers to evaluate staff competency.
• Ensures compliance training and policy development to support hospital goals.
