Job summary

Virtua Health in New Jersey is seeking a nursing educator to plan, implement, and evaluate learning experiences for nursing students across classroom, clinical, and simulation settings. The role guides student development, coordinates clinical placements, and contributes to curriculum and program promotion while modeling professionalism and commitment to scholarship.

Requirements include 2+ years of teaching, a Master of Nursing degree, NJ RN licensure, CPR certification, and ongoing faculty

Qualifications

• 2+ years of teaching experience preferred.
• Master of Nursing degree required.
• RN licensure in New Jersey required.
• CPR certification (BLS) required; ACLS/NALS/PALS for specialty courses may be required.
• CNE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and evaluate nursing learning experiences (classroom, clinical, virtual, and lab).
• Coordinate clinical experiences with appropriate agencies and develop evaluation tools.
• Participate in curriculum development, annual budgeting, and faculty workshops.
• Provide student guidance, advisement, and formative/summative evaluations.
• Demonstrate professionalism, ongoing self-development, and research integration into teaching.
