Job summary

Orbis Education seeks a Clinical/Lab Faculty to implement academic programs in lab and simulation settings for Averett University Accelerated BSN Program in Norfolk, VA. Instructors contribute to teaching, research, and service and report to the Director, Nursing Services.

The role centers on facilitating student learning in clinical/lab and online environments, guiding professionalism and practice, and collaborating with the Healthcare Partner.

Qualifications

• Two years of successful professional nursing practice required.
• Two years of teaching experience preferred.
• Experience in a simulation environment with mannequins is a plus.
• Confident with AV equipment, learning management platforms and student database systems.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate student learning in clinical/lab settings and online.
• Guide students in professionalism, practice, and research in clinical/lab settings.
• Collaborate with the Healthcare Partner and support adjunct faculty as needed.
• Maintain and Teach Nursing Knowledge.
