Qualifications
- Must hold a Master’s degree in nursing or higher and an active nursing license in GA.
- PhD in a field relevant to teaching is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing practice in a clinical setting.
- Strong communication and professional initiative are required.
Responsibilities
- Teach assigned nursing courses in classroom, online, clinical, or simulation settings.
- Contribute to curriculum development and update teaching materials.
- Provide feedback, remediation, and student support to foster learning success.
- Lead clinical learning activities and ensure students are practice-ready.
- Engage in scholarly work related to teaching and nursing practice.
- Mentor new faculty and participate in committee work.
- Pursue ongoing professional development and stay current with policies.
