Job summary

Chamberlain University is hiring an experienced nursing educator to shape the next generation of healthcare professionals across classroom, online, and clinical settings. You will deliver engaging learning experiences, evaluate performance, and mentor both students and new faculty in alignment with Chamberlain Care® principles.

The role requires a Master’s degree in nursing, an active Texas RN license, and at least two years of clinical nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing required.
• Current, unencumbered Texas RN license or eligibility.
• Minimum of 2 years nursing clinical experience.
• Excellent communication and initiative.
• Proficiency with learning management systems, simulation tech, and online platforms; familiarity with AI is a plus.
• Ability to teach across classroom, online, and clinical settings.
• Compliance with state licensure requirements and teaching credentials.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned nursing courses across classroom, online, clinical, lab, and simulation.
• Develop and implement course curriculum and teaching materials.
• Support student success by understanding individual needs and providing feedback.
• Evaluate student performance and provide remediation as needed.
• Lead clinical learning activities and ensure practice-ready students.
• Engage in scholarly activities related to teaching and nursing practice.
• Maintain current subject matter and pursue professional development.
• Uphold policies on exams, attendance, and assignments.
