The School of Nursing at Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, OK seeks a nurse educator to teach within the traditional BSN program with a strong commitment to teaching excellence, scholarship, and innovation.

The candidate will collaborate with a dynamic team and work independently when necessary, teaching didactic and clinical courses while advising undergraduate students and participating in ongoing assessment and committee work.

Formación

• Master of Science in Nursing is required.
• Active, unencumbered RN license in Oklahoma.
• Two years or more of clinical experience.
• Previous teaching experience preferred.
• Capacity for learning required software for advising, student learning management systems, and testing.
• Commitment to high-quality instruction in a student-centered environment with use of technology.

Responsabilidades

• Teach didactic and clinicals.
• Advise traditional undergraduate students.
• Work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Maintain positive interpersonal relationships.
• Actively participate in continuous assessment.
• Serve on committees.
• Additional duties, consistent with educator’s talents and experience, to support the School of Nursing in the achievement of program outcomes.
