Qualifications

• MSN from an accredited program is required.
• Current unencumbered RN license in North Carolina or eligibility for licensure.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in adult health, medical-surgical, or critical care nursing.
• Demonstrated ability to teach and evaluate students in classroom and clinical settings.
• Commitment to student-centered teaching and inclusive learning environments.

Responsibilities

• Teach didactic, simulation, laboratory, and clinical courses in the pre-licensure BSN program.
• Supervise students in acute-care clinical settings and collaborate with clinical partners.
• Participate in curriculum development, course revision, and program assessment aligned with CCNE and NC Board of Nursing.
• Mentor students including NCLEX-RN preparation and success.
• Contribute to student recruitment, admission, and progression processes.
• Engage in scholarship and serve on departmental/college/university committees.
• Participate in interprofessional education initiatives within the College of Health Sciences and Human Services.
• Maintain current clinical competence and licensure.
