Job summary

Concorde-Career-College seeks a Director of Nursing Education to lead curriculum development, evaluation, and regulatory compliance for the nursing program. You will oversee faculty performance, accreditation activities, and student success initiatives on campus in Aurora, CO.

The role requires an MSN (doctorate preferred), an active RN license in CO, and 5+ years of senior nursing leadership in higher education.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing required; doctorate preferred.
• Active RN license in the state of employment.
• 2+ years of teaching in an accredited BSN program.
• 5+ years of nursing leadership in a post-secondary environment.
• Must meet State Board of Nursing qualifications to direct a nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for curriculum development and evaluation to align with industry standards and student success outcomes.
• Oversee faculty management including hiring, orientation, mentorship, and evaluations.
• Coordinate academic planning: course schedules, faculty assignments, and resource needs.
• Monitor student performance, advising, licensure prep, and engagement.
• Maintain accurate student records, faculty evaluations, and program documentation per accrediting bodies.
• Represent the program in regulatory forums, community partnerships, and campus committees.
• Promote a positive learning environment with open communication with students, faculty, and leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement through feedback analysis and action plans for program effectiveness.
• Serve as liaison with the Board of Nursing and accrediting agencies, ensuring timely reports.
• Support professional development and scholarly contributions among staff.
• Participate in graduations, orientations, and pinning ceremonies to celebrate students.
• Lead a high-performance, motivated team and drive established business results.
