Job summary

Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital is seeking aProfessional Development Practitioner to lead education design, implement evidence-based curricula, and evaluate outcomes for nursing staff. The role emphasizes clinical teaching, preceptorship, and collaboration with clinical learning to elevate care quality.

The selected candidate will coordinate orientations, support quality and safety initiatives, and ensure compliance with ANPD standards while promoting lifelong learning across shifts.

Qualifications

• BSN from an approved program; Florida RN license required.
• Minimum ICU experience of three years; trauma experience preferred.
• National specialty certification within two years of hire if available.
• Strong teaching skills with precepting and clinical education experience.
• Proficient with Epic and simulation-based training tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct needs assessments and develop educational plans.
• Coordinate orientation for assigned areas and engage leaders.
• Lead quality and safety improvement initiatives.
• Develop evidence-based curricula aligned with ANPD standards.
• Assess learner competence and provide feedback.
• Collaborate with departments on education initiatives.
• Generate impact reports of educational interventions.
• Support student services and participate in ongoing education.
