Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience in a hospital setting.
• IT and web design experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and coordinates organization-wide training and development programs.
• Works with interdisciplinary teams for standard practice review and revision.
• Demonstrates skills and assessments to care for the adult patient population.
• Researches teaching resources, designs, develops, and obtains audio-visual aids.
• Implements programs and evaluations and makes recommendations for appropriate modifications.
• Coordinates efforts with community-based programs.
• Supports operation of the Learning center.
• Oversees CPR and related classes.
• Attends Joint Commission survey and provides education information as requested.
