Qualifications

Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited college.
Unencumbered North Carolina nursing license.
At least two years of nursing instruction experience as an RN in the last five years.
Teaching or precepting experience preferred but not required.
Genuine passion for nursing, education, and lifelong learning.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Commitment to serving students and colleagues with respect and care.

Responsibilities

Plan clinical experiences and provide direct supervision and evaluation of nursing students.
Deliver nursing care instruction aligned with course objectives.
Provide remediation and feedback to students as required.
Maintain knowledge of agency/clinical policies and procedures.
Contribute to program development and campus activities.
May teach didactic content under supervision.
